3000W Dual-Axis Oscillating Laser Welding Heads

Dual-Axis Oscillating Laser Welding Heads (3kW – 8kW)

The NS Series Dual-Axis Oscillating Laser Welding Heads are designed for robotic, gantry and other automated fiber laser welding systems. A motor-driven X–Y double galvo system moves the laser beam through adjustable wobble patterns, helping widen the weld seam and improve tolerance for irregular joints and assembly gaps.

With sealed optics, integrated controls and water cooling for both the optical path and head body, the series supports fiber laser powers from 3kW to 8kW.

System Integration Note:
The NS Series is a welding head component. A compatible fiber laser source, water chiller, motion platform, control and laser safety system, and shielding-gas setup are required.

X–Y Dual-Galvo Control

Two motor-driven galvo axes create adjustable beam trajectories for wider weld seams and improved joint tolerance.

Adjustable Wobble Parameters

Select multiple patterns and adjust the wobble size from 0.1–5 mm and frequency from 0–300 Hz.

Integrated Touchscreen Control

Set the pattern, size, frequency and origin compensation directly from the integrated control interface.

Water-Cooled Architecture

Dedicated water cooling protects the optical path and helps stabilize the head during continuous welding.

Service-Friendly Optics

An enclosed optical path and drawer-type protective lens simplify routine inspection and replacement.

QBH-Based Integration

Designed for compatible fiber laser sources using a QBH connection. Final configuration is confirmed before order.

Integration note: Final compatibility depends on the fiber laser source, connector, optical configuration, mounting requirements and welding application.

Adjustable Wobble Patterns and Touchscreen Control

The built-in control interface allows operators and system integrators to adjust the beam trajectory without an external computer.

Available adjustments include:

  • Multiple preset beam trajectories
  • 0.1–5 mm adjustable wobble size
  • 0–300 Hz adjustable frequency
  • X/Y trajectory ratio
  • Wobble origin compensation
  • Chinese and English interface options

These adjustments make it easier to develop welding settings for butt, lap, fillet and sealing welds. Final parameters still depend on the material, thickness, joint design, shielding gas and welding speed.

Integrated Architecture

Integrated controls reduce installation complexity. The control board, galvo drivers and X–Y motor modules are built into the welding head, helping reduce external wiring and save space in automated welding equipment.

  • Integrated control board and galvo drivers
  • On-head touchscreen parameter adjustment
  • Water-cooled optical path and head structure
  • Optional CCD, process gas and side air knife configurations
Drawer-type protective lens maintenance process for an oscillating laser welding head
Service-Friendly Optics

Routine protective-lens access is designed to be faster. The drawer-type lens assembly can be removed for inspection, cleaning or replacement without dismantling the complete optical head.

  • Two locking screws secure the protective-lens drawer
  • Quick access for inspection and replacement
  • Protective lens helps isolate the focusing optics
  • Simplified routine maintenance procedure
Integration note: Mounting, focal length, CCD configuration, process gas, cable routing and water-cooling requirements are confirmed during technical evaluation.
